The aluminum print combines glossy surfaces with impressive, brilliant color and resistance against external influences. In a thermal sublimation printing process involving heat and high-pressure, the image is placed into coated, 1mm-thick aluminum and embedded into the coating. Consequently, the image is not on but rather in the aluminum. Extremely resistant, HD Metal prints are ideal for sheltered outdoor areas or more humid rooms. Due to the thin material, they are incredibly light, even in larger sizes.
Metal picture prints are created using a process called dye sublimation. There is also a traditional method in which photo printing is done directly on the metal surface but it can get damaged or scratched off easily. With dye sublimation, the photo is infused directly as a hard coating to give longevity to the photo and protects it from any harm.
In the Gallery we also do custom sizes and custom framing, such as: Natural Raw Oak, Brown Recycled Timer (comes in a white washed/brushed as well) and Italian Matt Black and White.
